It's a happy day....blow without spitting please...

Today is Veggie Stick's birthday. She's 15 years old.
It seems like just yesterday that she arrived into this world, sweet and soft and hairy..LOL

WOW!

The time has flown by. I can picture her walking through the house with her 'suck-a-boo'(pacifier)shoved firmly in her mouth and a cute little hat on her head.

She had her own sense of style and wasn't afraid of being an individual. She's still like that now...

Halloween had to be something grand and creative. Nothing store bought for this chick...hahahaha...

She's always been one to go after what she wants. She has self-confidence and quite a few opinions that don't agree with the majority....and that's one of the things I love about her...her tenacity...

I think she's growing into a beautiful woman...a kind and loving one. A woman who fights against injustices and tries to show others they're special. Just ask one of the boys in the special needs class who she invited to her birthday party in middle school. His mother said it was the first birthday party invitation he'd ever received. And Veggie Stick didn't invite him and blow him off. She spent time hanging out with him and threatening to beat up a couple of boys who were making fun of him.

She makes me crazy sometimes....
She worries me sick sometimes...

But I'm so proud of her, I could almost bust open.

I love you my baby girl. Happy Birthday...
