I need to finish my blog roll but in order to go to the pages to read or get the links it takes FOREVER!

When I hit the post button it may or may not post or it might post after taking FOREVER to load it.
Someone is coming to save me from KILLING SOMEONE BECAUSE I CAN'T POST AND MY HEAD IS FILLING UP WITH THOUGHTS ABOUT THE ELDERLY HELLIONS I HAD TO DEAL WITH YESTERDAY!!!! but it's taking FOREVER for them to get here and honestly....I'm ready to pull my hair out.

I have no idea what's going on with anyone and I have managed to read only a few blogs, luckily posting a comment on a couple.

I couldn't get the fucking page to load OR when I hit the comment button it wouldn't load.

The cable company tech I talked to on the phone said he thought we might have had a hacker.
A hacker?
WTF?
I'm POOR! I have nothing hackable! I don't even store nude pictures on my computer. There is NOTHING of value a hacker could find on my computer. So if there is someone who's attached themself to my computer, I have one thing to say....WHY???
YOU'RE JUST FUCKING UP MY SHIT AND SLOWING DOWN MY LOADS AND I CAN'T FUCKING BLOG!

Anyway, I'm getting off here and I'm going to build a fire to the Gods and then prepare a feast of Lutefisk and Vodka in honor of their arrival.

In the meantime, I will probably have to write my thoughts down and save them in my documents and post them another time when I can get something to post.

I hope they plan to fix it. I got a virus from Facebook once that made my computer act reeeaaal slow. Was hell getting it off.

Windows Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool. As part of the monthly updates, Windows updates downloaded a program with that title onto my computer. It found a "worm" I'd picked up from Facebook and removed it. Windows updates this program monthly. If you don't have it, you can find it somewhere on the Microsoft site, and download it manually. Good luck. I know how frustrating it is.

ReplyDeleteThe other day my computer was down. But instead of murdering people I broke their clavicles with a wooden mallet. That seemed to do the trick.
ReplyDeleteI was having alot of blogs that I was visiting not load and a message came up that said operation aborted. I was getting pissed, and then I was told to download firefox as my browser, and have not had that happen since. I don't know if your problem is that or not but I hope I helped!
ReplyDeleteYep, Internet Explorer and Blogger have been having "issues", so you might want to look into that. Run your anti-virus software and see if that turns up anything, too. If you need help, I'm fairly decent at troubleshooting.

ReplyDeletePay close attention to comments by Otin and Evil Twin's wife. It has happened to many of us! For me, it happens on my OLDER Desktop pc that uses Windows XP & ie8...BUT on my new notebook with VISTA & ie7 it does not do those things! Why, I have no idea?
ReplyDeleteBut I think it's pretty irresponsible of your cable co. to scare you into thinking you might have a hacker. I don't think you do. You surely have a firewall (windows has one) and antivirus software. Use the free AVG, it won't slow down your system like the ones you have to buy, like McAfee, etc.
And like kenju said, I have heard that Firefox is much better and you won't have those problems.
But when you hear the term Web 2.0, it doesn't make any sense, except that in my opinion, only the newer computers can handle all the new internet applications, etc.
You can also go to download.com and download free "Malwarebyte-Anti-Malware and also run the anniversary edition of ad-aware.
I don't run the Malwarebyte-Anti Malware all that often, but I do run the ad-aware after every session (the quick scan only takes a few minutes) and then I REMOVE what it finds. You might try those things.
