IN my haste to change my layout...I lost my blogroll widget.
While I can remember every single person on it, the web pages are not always the same as the people.
So if you're one of the people I read, and you have a moment, comment with some small thing like #3 or whatever so I can get your link.
I'll work on it tomorrow.
So why'd I change my profile picture?
Because I now have fifty million perverts wanting to chat with me on the webcam.

I don't even HAVE a webcam.
I know I said I wanted new followers a couple of posts ago, but I meant followers...not STALKERS!
I have a mad desire to say something inappropriate but I feel like I may be struck down by lightening if I do and then ALL the hair on my body will be tightly curled, not just the "meow meow meow" part.
And for those of you who are confused and upset at not seeing the alleged nude pictures of me...THERE WERE NO NUDE PICTURES!
For crying out loud...I'm crude and rude and talk about inappropriate stuff but I haven't even posted a picture of my cleavage.
Stop getting so worked up.

Hey, I like the new site. Do what ever you want to do. You'll get that list back up and running eventually. I will agree that the chick on the old website was.....um.....enticing.
ReplyDeleteHi BG, I've noticed the blogosphere is slower on the weekends, and I have an idea for you.
ReplyDeleteThe blogs you follow are still on your profile page. To redo your blogroll, you might consider after logging in, on the dashboard layout set up your blogroll place & save.
Then go and "view your blog" in another window then once you view your blog and you see the wrench tool at the new blank blog roll ssection, click that and add your blog roll. Resize your window smaller.
Then right click "view my profile" but make sure you then click "in another window" (not tab). Now just have those two windows on your screen at the same time, resize them until they aren't touching. That way you can jump from one to the other without either of them closing. You can play around with them and their size and use the bottom and side sliders.
Your profile page still shows all the blogs you follow. And you know most are easy to remember, like a a name or phrase dot blogspot dot com.
If you roll your curor over the blog on the list it will show you in the lower left corner of the window what the url is. Then in the other window you can just quickly add them in there, once you've clicked the wrench tool under your blog roll section.
I know that probably wasn't all of them, but that will give you a big jump start! A lot of typing maybe, but it still will be if people leave their url in comments for you.
Or you might be able to even right click and open each blog in yet a 3rd window and just stop it from loading all the way, just long enough for you to cut and paste the url.

I'm sorry your going through this sort of thing. What ever happened to not saying anything if you can't say something nice? If you want I'll get a webcam and you can send them my direction and I'll pose naked. If that doesn't scare the trolls off your site I don't know what will :)

Well, I hope I didn't put my comment out there too much in haste. After having some coffee, I realize that after all that long help comment, BG probably realizes that and is like "duh!"

I hope BG is not pulling her hair out and thinking "oh great, now if I do that, it will be obvious which blogs I follow anonymously, since they don't show up on the profile page.
I guess we ALL need to save BG any further embarrassment (but really BG, we all have blogs we follow anonymously and for different reasons).
So, if you're a blog reader here, let's help her out and put a #3, then your blog's URL.
She can quickly glance through all these comments and see all the #3's. I just didn't want to be the first one to list my url! Sorry if I made things more complicated!

I've followed your blog for over a year (not including your 'vacation') and only was compelled to comment a few times.
ReplyDeleteThe open letter brings up a idea that needs to be explored. Why do I (or others) follow your blog out of all the blogs that are available?
I follow yours because the writing is at times hilarious, sad, amusing,and at times arousing.
I try to follow every day since the thought of missing a "nugget" of entertainment to brighten my day makes me sad.
So if I have to wade through an update that includes bizarre sex or a WVSR music rambling or even a ETW musing on her children's school. It is a VERY small price to pay for the entertainment.
I have no idea if you ever followed me, but I read you as regularly as the other blogs in my bookmarks (having an office job made it much easier to keep up on a regular basis - now I go reading & writing once a week or less).

I have been reading your blog for awhile but have only commented once or twice. I read it because it is well written, well thought out, the pictures are always dead on and give me a big laugh out loud most times. I also see a lot of both myself and my best friend in the writing (sometimes it's just nice to know I'm not totally insane and that there's others out there and you're not the only one thinking that way or who went through such and such).
